Abstract:In this paper, evaluation function of MVC (multiview video coding) random accessibility for decoder and server is first proposed based on the methods from random graph theory and hyper-space. Furthermore, a non-linear multi-purpose programming model for MVC performance evaluation is also proposed according to the constraints from practical network bandwidth, restrictions of interaction and other problems. Based on this model, optimal coding strategies for different MVC schemes under variant performance constraints are discussed. It is found that random accessibility of MVC scheme can be improved via this non-linear multi-purpose programming model.
