Key Program is a kind of programs supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). It aims at improving the development of science and the continuable development of national economy and society. In this paper, the 2004 year’s application for funding and supporting Key Program by Computer Science Division of Information Science Department are summarized. While reviewing principles are provided, the problems are analyzed. Finally the suggestions are given.
