This paper proposes a fast convergent genetic algorithm to overcome the slow convergent rate of conventional genetic algorithms，and takes 8一queen problem as an example to examine the algorithm．The simulated results demonstrates that the algorithm'S convergent rate is faster than that of the conventional techniques．
