In this paper, an object-oriented domain engineering method, Jade Bird domain engineering method is proposed. In domain engineering, several systems in a domain are analyzed, and their commonalities and variabilities are identified. Through development for reuse, domain-specific components and the architecture are produced. Domain engineering approach helps successfully for software reuse. Based on the Jade Bird object-oriented method, this method defines activities and artifacts in every domain engineering stage, and gives guidelines for each stage and the activies in it.
